Curam Care Homes in Gorey, Co Wexford, is hiring a Full-time Catering Assistant to join our care team at Oakfield Nursing Home. You will support the cook, assist with kitchen duties, and provide meals, drinks and snacks to residents while maintaining high food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Nursing home experience desirable but not essential.
• Catering experience desirable but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families.
• HACCP or other food safety training is advantageous.
• Knowledge of IDDSI is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest standards of Food Safety and Hygiene.
• Ensure all work supports resident and food safety.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines at all times.
• Work cooperatively with the multidisciplinary team.
• Report incidents to Head Chef and Director of Nursing/Person in Charge.
