Job summary

Aramark Ireland is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to join our busy Limerick team. You will support service, food handling and customer care, helping keep dining areas clean and welcoming.

This frontline role focuses on peak periods and requires teamwork with kitchen and front-of-house staff. No prior catering experience is required as onboarding and training are provided; Garda Vetting is required and you must have the legal right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers during service periods with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Operate the till system accurately and handle cash transactions with precision.
• Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen duties while maintaining attention to detail.
• Support the catering team to ensure smooth service operations during busy periods.
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas.
• Perform washing up and general housekeeping duties efficiently.
• Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures consistently.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all customers, staff, and visitors.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
• Respond flexibly to changing priorities and support team members as needed.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Recognize and accommodate dietary requirements and allergies with care and attention.
