Job summary

Aramark in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. You will serve customers, handle till operations, assist with food prep, and maintain cleanliness across kitchen and dining areas.

This role requires reliability, a positive attitude, and strong teamwork. Garda Vetting is required; legal right to work in Ireland is essential. Comprehensive training is provided to support your growth within our hospitality operations.

Qualifications

• Previous catering or food service experience is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
• Food hygiene awareness or willingness to obtain certification (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers during service periods with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Operate the till system accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
• Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen duties while maintaining attention to detail
• Support the catering team to ensure smooth service operations during busy periods
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas
• Perform washing up and general housekeeping duties efficiently
• Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures consistently
• Provide outstanding customer service to all customers, staff, and visitors
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational goals
• Respond flexibly to changing priorities and support team members as needed
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
