NHS Scotland is seeking a Catering Assistant to work in a hospital kitchen, contributing to a busy team and helping plate patient meals while ensuring a clean, safe work environment.
You will need to follow instructions, work in a team or independently, and communicate effectively. Induction standards are mandatory; an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, with full training provided.

As a catering assistant you will be working in the hospitals busy kitchen to work as part of a large team to maintain a clean safe working environment & to assist in the plating up of all patient meals. You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but full training will be given.
