Job summary

Aramark Ireland is seeking a catering assistant to join our Parkmore, Galway team for a full-time role. You will help deliver restaurant services to staff and visitors, working closely with the front-of-house team on tills and counters, and assisting back-of-house when needed.

The position offers a 07:30 to 15:00 Monday to Friday schedule with possible weekend overtime. Training is provided, uniforms and staff meals are supplied, and opportunities for career advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced catering environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene/HACCP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist front-of-house teams with tills and service counters.
• Support back-of-house operations when required.

Job description

As a catering assistant with our team here in Parkmore, Galway, you will be helping us deliver our catering services to those working for a large multinational manufacturing company. This position will be very rewarding for the right candidate, helping deliver restaurant services in a positive and engaging environment. Our interactions contribute hugely to the experience of those using our restaurants, and we aim to improve each customer's day through our interactions.

Full-time Position (07:30 to 15:00 Monday to Friday)(Times may vary)(Possibility of overtime at the weekend)

You must have:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced catering business is preferred
• A background in hospitality or catering is preferred
• Excellent time management skills
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene, including HACCP, is preferred
• A problem-solving mind and solutions-orientated approach with a flexible can-do attitude
