Duties

Duties include:

• Cleaning of dining areas, wash up duties and kitchen cleaning.
• Housekeeping including servicing of bedrooms and cleaning of public areas.
• Assisting with the preparation and serving of food.
• Laundry duties.

Work alongside a team of workers of colleagues in our vibrant and busy centre - training will be provided in all areas. Skills gained are relevant to housekeeping roles in hotels, cleaning in nursing homes, deli assistant roles, food preparation or kitchen wash up / cleaning work in hotels, restaurants and cafes. The position also provides the opportunity to avail of accredited training. Flexibility is required in relation to days and hours of work - some work can be on weekend days at times of the year.

Position is based at The Cavan Centre, Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan involving 19.5 hours work over 3 days per week.
