Job summary

Ethos Care is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our Catering Supervisor/Chef in delivering nutritious meals in a caring residential setting. You will help ensure residents enjoy safe, balanced, and appetising food daily while upholding high hygiene and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Passion for food and supporting older people.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, cooking, and baking.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, HACCP, and food safety.
• Support menu planning and dietary requirements.
• Help with food storage, stock control, and records.
• Engage positively with residents and promote person-centred care.
