Job summary

Prosper Meath, part of Prosper Group, is recruiting for Care Assistants for our Day Services across Co. Meath. You will support adults with intellectual disabilities to live independent lives, engage in community activities and creative programmes, and provide companionship within a friendly team.

The role requires QQI Level 5 in Healthcare/HSS, experience with disabilities, and a full clean driving licence. We offer generous benefits and a supportive work environment.

Location: Day Services - Navan and Trim - Meath

Hours: 30 hours per week

Contract: Permanent / Specified Purpose / Panel

Salary Scale (FTE): €32,479 – €46,098 per annum, pro-rated to 30 hours per week

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting people to live meaningful, independent, and socially connected lives. No two days are the same, you may be helping someone develop life skills, participate in community activities, express themselves through creative programmes, or simply offering encouragement and companionship. You will build confidence and empower each individual to reach their goals, while working as part of a friendly, supportive, and professional team.

• A completed QQI Level 5 major award in Healthcare Support or Health Service Skills or an equivalent relevant qualification (essential)
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities
• Full, clean manual driving licence (essential)
