Job summary

Abbott Ireland Commercial in Dublin seeks a CRM Device Specialist to support implantation and follow-up of Abbott CRM products across hospitals. You will build strong hospital relationships, provide technical guidance, and contribute to regional account objectives.

Requirements include a science degree, cardiology device experience, knowledge of the Irish healthcare market, and strong communication skills. Travel ~70% and a professional, collaborative approach are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S degree in sciences is preferred.
• Experience in Cardiology or Cardiac Medical Devices.
• Knowledge of the Irish healthcare market.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel 70% of the time.
• Interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Willingness to seek coaching and feedback.
• Professional and ethical conduct at all times.
• Ability to collaborate with a wide range of customers and colleagues.
• Familiarity with catheter lab and operating room procedures (preferred).
• MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are used routinely.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary technical support to Abbott customers during implantation and follow-up of CRM products.
• Perform complex device/EGM troubleshooting independently.
• Assist senior team members in managing regional customer education training events and liaise on training requirements.
• Develop understanding of regional account objectives and contribute to market intelligence.
• Administrative territory duties and case support on a weekly basis.
• Demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours and location of customer support.
• Develop clinical and non-clinical skills with the Regional Business Manager and Senior CRM Device Specialist.
• Work toward CRM certification such as BHRS/IBHRE/EHRA within 12 months.
• Ensure compliance with clinical practices, SOPs, and Abbott quality standards.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and Code of Business Conduct.
