Lever, Inc. seeks a Technical Due Diligence Consultant based in Ireland to support carbon projects with rigorous technical assessments, risk analysis, and written recommendations.

You will review project documentation, analyze biomass sourcing, ARR, IFM, policy and market factors, engage with stakeholders, and translate findings into actionable insights for decision-makers; travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in technical due diligence, impact assessments, feasibility studies, or a closely related field.
• Expertise in biomass sourcing, ARR, agroforestry, IFM, or biochar.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong written and verbal English; other languages a plus.
• Knowledge of land tenure, carbon rights, Article 6 is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to participate in stakeholder engagement and in-person site visits.
• Attention to detail and ability to translate findings into clear recommendations.

Responsabilités

• Conduct technical due diligence on carbon projects by reviewing project documentation, assessing risks, and analyzing regulatory, technical, and economic considerations.
• Research and synthesize relevant data, market developments, industry trends, and best practices to support project assessments.
• Provide subject matter expertise in areas such as biomass sourcing, land use, forestry, carbon project development, policy, or technical feasibility.
• Assess country- and region-specific factors, including political, regulatory, economic, social, cultural, and supply-chain considerations.
• Engage with project teams, partners, and other stakeholders to gather information and support informed decision-making.
• Participate in site visits when required, contributing to interviews, meetings, field assessments, and technical evaluations.
• Prepare comprehensive written reports, findings, and recommendations based on research, analysis, and stakeholder input.
• Manage assignments independently while meeting project deadlines and adapting to changing project requirements.
