Job summary

You will work in a busy workshop with modern equipment and clear communication with customers. Essential requirements include a minimum of 3 years’ experience, strong diagnostic ability, a full driving licence and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience as a car mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and practical mechanical skills across a range of vehicle makes and models.
• English fluency (spoken and written).
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out full vehicle servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Diagnose and repair engine, braking, suspension, clutch, exhaust and electrical faults.
• Perform pre-NCT inspections and prepare vehicles for testing.
• Replace and repair components including timing belts, filters, batteries, brakes and suspension parts.
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment at all times.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding required work and estimated costs.
• Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities
