Job summary

Wintongrove Ltd trading as Blanchardstown 4x4 is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join its team at Old River Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.

This is a full-time, two-year position working 39 hours per week with an annual salary of €36,605.

You will inspect, diagnose, service and repair cars and light motor vehicles, using modern diagnostic tools and maintaining accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and the ability to work independently.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, repair engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension and electrical systems.
• Carry out scheduled servicing, replace defective components, perform wheel alignment and balancing, road-test vehicles and maintain records.

This is a full-time, two-year position within a professional automotive repair and maintenance environment, working 39 hours per week with an annual salary of €36,605.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, servicing and repairing cars and light motor vehicles. Duties include diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, repairing engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension and electrical systems, carrying out scheduled servicing, replacing defective components, performing wheel alignment and balancing, road-testing vehicles and maintaining accurate service and repair records.

Applicants must hold a relevant qualification in Motor Mechanics, Automotive Mechanics or Vehicle Maintenance, or demonstrate equivalent professional experience. A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required. Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and the ability to work independently are essential.

Pay: €36,605.00 per year
