Job summary

Danone Infant Nutrition Macroom Ltd is seeking a Head of Projects to oversee the engineering function and a portfolio of capital investment projects within a dynamic manufacturing site.

You will drive engineering excellence, deliver projects on time and within budget, and partner with senior leadership to shape the site’s long‑term strategy, safety, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Process, or related Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in engineering leadership or project management role.
• Proven capability in delivering CAPEX projects on time and within budget.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams in a complex operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of automation, process improvement, and production technologies.
• Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site engineering and project teams, fostering safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and support for manufacturing operations and site growth initiatives.
• Develop engineering capability, succession plans, and technical expertise within the team.
• Plan and execute capital investment projects from concept through commissioning and closure.
• Manage project budgets, scopes, timelines, risks, and resource plans.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee contractor, supplier, and governance processes for project delivery.
