Job summary

We Love Duck Ltd t/a ZAKURA Restaurant in Dublin is seeking a Chef de Partie to work Cantonese style specialties. The role requires a chef qualification in Asian cuisine and at least two years’ experience in Asian food, with a permanent contract and a 38-hour workweek.

You will assist the head chef in menu preparation, ensure stock at stations, supervise junior staff, and uphold health and cleanliness standards in the kitchen. The position offers a €37,000 annual salary.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Head Chef to prepare menus and specials.
• Order, prepare, and stock common ingredients for all cooking stations.
• Follow health codes and cleanliness standards in kitchen and storage areas.
• Train and supervise junior chefs, including best practices, safety, and cleanliness.
• Check plating accuracy (garnish, portion size, serving dish).
• Anticipate and communicate shortages to the Head Chef.
