Job summary

Zakura Noodle & Sushi Restaurant in Dublin 2 is seeking a Chef de Partie in Japanese sushi. Asian food chef qualification is required, with at least 2 years of experience in Asian cuisine. This is a permanent contract, with 38 hours per week.

You will work closely with the head chef to prepare menus and ensure high standards across stations, while maintaining health and safety guidelines in a busy kitchen.

Annual salary is €37,000.

Qualifications

• Asian food chef qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Head Chef to prepare menus, including specials.
• Order, prepare, and stock ingredients for all stations.
• Follow Head Chef guidance in meal prep and presentation.
• Enforce health codes and cleanliness in kitchen/storage areas.
• Train and supervise junior chefs on best practices and safety.
• Check plating accuracy and portion size.
• Anticipate and communicate shortages to Head Chef.
