Job summary

LotusWorks Ltd is seeking a Shift Calibration Technician to join our client site in a cutting-edge pharmaceutical facility in Dublin. You will be responsible for the setup, calibration and troubleshooting of process instrumentation and related equipment.

The role requires 2 years industry experience, strong knowledge of calibration systems and automation, and a 24/7 shift pattern. Training and career development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 7 degree in Instrumentation, Calibration or Electrical, or Fetac 6 in Instrumentation/E&I.
• Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation in GMP/FDA-compliant, organized manner.
• Collaborate with operation teams to facilitate calibration activities.
• Carry out calibrations in a safe, timely manner.
• Report work using site-based reporting tools.
• Be available for required site training.
• Update the PM schedule as required.
• Update site Maximo database as required.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned.

Job description

As a Shift Calibration Technician you will be working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the pharmaceutical sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Dublin.

Working with the LotusWorks team as a Calibration Technician you will be responsible for the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of process instrumentation such as temperature, pressure, flow, humidity, level, density, viscosity instrumentation, pH and conductivity analysers and control valves. The role will also cover calibration of portable lab equipment (PLE).

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all documentation in an organised and controlled manner in compliance with GMP and FDA.
• Work with operation teams as required facilitating calibration activities.
• Carry out calibrations in a safe and timely manner.
• Report work carried out in compliance with site-based reporting tools.
• To be available and to undertake any site required training.
• Update “PM” schedule as required.
• Update site system database “Maximo” as required
• Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role

Skills Required:

• Ideally at least 2 years industry experience.
• A good knowledge of Calibration Systems and Automation/Controls system.
• Literacy in Computer Operating Systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.
• Required to work on a 24/7 shift cycle
• Possess excellent Communication / Documentation and Interpersonal skills.

Education / Licenses / Certifications:

• Level 7 Degree qualification in Instrumentation., Calibration or Electrical OR Fetac level 6 trade qualification in Instrumentation or E&I
• Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable
