Job summary

Lotusworks in Dublin is seeking a Calibration Technician to join their team in the pharmaceutical sector. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of various instrumentation to ensure compliance with GMP and FDA regulations.

The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience with portable lab equipment and analytical instrumentation, along with a Level 7 Degree or an equivalent qualification. The position includes benefits like healthcare cover and training assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience with portable lab equipment and analytical instrumentation.
• Proof of education and certifications will be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operation teams to facilitate calibration activities.
• Conduct calibrations and maintenance on portable lab equipment and analytical instruments.
• Liaise with Vendors to schedule site visits and manage equipment handovers.
• Report all work using site-based reporting tools.
• Maintain accurate calibration records in the site database.

Skills

Experience with portable lab equipment (PLE)

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Excellent communication skills

Ability to adapt to changing project requirements

Education

Level 7 Degree in Engineering or Science

FETAC Level 6 Trade Qualification in Instrumentation or E&I
