Job summary

Tandem Project Management Ltd. is supporting a biopharmaceutical client in Carlow seeking a Calibration Planner & Scheduler to lead site-wide calibration and gas detection programmes.

You will own end-to-end planning and scheduling, develop calibration calendars, and coordinate activities across manufacturing, laboratories, utilities, and warehouse. Proficiency with SAP/CMMS and a GMP mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Level 7 qualification in Engineering, Instrumentation, Maintenance Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in planning, scheduling, maintenance, calibration in GMP.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS/EAM.
• Experience in pharma/biotech/regulated manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with ProCal or calibration management systems preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, data integrity and regulatory inspections preferred.
• Skills in calibration programme management and SAP/CMMS work management.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning and scheduling for site calibration and gas detection.
• Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual calibration schedules.
• Coordinate activities across manufacturing, labs, utilities, warehouse, and support functions.
• Create, plan, release, and manage calibration work orders in SAP and CMMS.
• Manage calibration backlog and ensure timely closure of work orders.
• Lead calibration daily meetings and maintain KPI dashboards.
• Coordinate external calibration vendors.
• Support audit readiness and regulatory inspections.
• Maintain records and planning documentation.
• Drive improvements in planning and work management.
• Promote compliance, reliability and operational excellence.
