Sheraton Athlone Hotel in Athlone, Co. Westmeath, is seeking a Café Supervisor to lead the Harvest Homemade Café team. You’ll deliver outstanding guest service, motivate colleagues, and ensure the café runs smoothly across weekdays and weekends, 30 hours or more per week.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ supervisory experience in F&B or café.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate café team members to deliver high service standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the café.

The Role

As Café Supervisor, you will support the management team in the smooth day-to-day running of the Harvest Homemade Café. You will lead and motivate your team to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience. This role requires flexibility, with availability to work weekdays and weekends, 30 hours or more per week throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate café team members to deliver consistently high standards of service.
• Ensure the café is presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation.
• Maximise sales opportunities and contribute to the café’s success.
• Uphold all hotel policies, including HACCP and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues alike.

About You

• 1–2 years’ supervisory experience in a food and beverage or café environment (preferred).
• A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, approachable manner.
• Energetic, reliable, and a true team player.
