The Wild Cherry Cafe at Killashee Hotel is seeking an experienced Cafe Supervisor to lead daily cafe operations and deliver guest service. You will oversee the cafe team, manage stock, ensure food safety, and support hotel events while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests and locals.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, organisation and customer service skills, with experience in cafe or hospitality management and a solid understanding of health and safety standards.

The Wild Cherry Cafe, at Killashee Hotel, is seeking an experienced and passionate Cafe Supervisor to assist leading daily cafe operations while delivering exceptional guest service.

The successful candidate will oversee the cafe team, maintain high food and beverage standards, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for hotel guests, visitors, and local customers.

This role combines cafe and hotel hospitality standards, requiring strong leadership, organisation, and customer service skills.

Main Duties:

• Assist with overseeing the day-to-day operations of Wild Cherry Cafe
• Lead, train, supervise, and motivate cafe staff
• Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered
• Monitor food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene standards
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
• Manage stock control, supplier orders, and inventory levels
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
• Prepare staff schedules and manage labour costs
• Support promotional activities, seasonal menus, and hotel events
• Monitor sales performance and assist in achieving revenue targets
• Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere within the cafe

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in cafe, restaurant, or hospitality management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays when required
• Experience working within a hotel environment is an advantage
