Job summary

O'Hehirs bakery and Cafe in Galway is seeking a full-time Cafe Manager for our Terryland cafe. The role covers day-to-day operations, 40 hours across Monday to Saturday, and leading the team to deliver top customer service.

You will manage staff, rota planning, ensure food hygiene standards, and drive sales while maintaining a warm, welcoming environment for guests.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in café, bakery or deli management.
• Excellent leadership and team development skills.
• Strong understanding of rota planning and payroll budgets.
• Solid knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
• Commercial awareness and proven experience driving sales and upselling.
• A proactive attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure.

FULL TIME MANAGER REQUIRED FOR OUR TERRYLAND CAFE!

O’Hehirs is a well-established, family run business in food and bakery based in Sligo. We serve customers in a chain of shops spanning Sligo, Donegal, Mayo, Galway, Longford and Westmeath and are expanding services and products offered all the time.

If you've got3-4 years experiencein a similar role & can meet the demands of working in a busy environment, are passionate about customer service and keen on using your skills, then this could be the role for you! This job will be require working 40 hours across Mon - Sat.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operations including the key responsibilities below.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading, training, and motivating staff to deliver excellent service and achieve sales targets.
