Job summary

CompuStaff is recruiting for a Software Engineer on behalf of a leading global SaaS company with a growing R&D centre in Galway. You will join a collaborative team working on modern SaaS products, cloud technology and AI-led transformation. The role expands to PHP learning while strengthening C#/.NET and API skills in a global setup.

You’ll contribute to backend services, APIs and platform evolution, with a Hybrid Galway-based setup and permanent, competitive salary terms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial C#/.NET experience.
• Backend and API development experience.
• Strong SQL/database skills.
• Familiarity with Git workflows.
• Willingness to learn PHP and broader tech stack.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain software using C#/.NET.
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services.
• Work with existing PHP applications and develop PHP skills.
• Build new features and enhance SaaS products.
• Collaborate with Product, QA and Engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and improve application performance.
• Contribute to platform modernization and cloud development.
