Verizon is hiring an Application Support Engineer in Ireland to support the Global Sourcing & Supply Chain group. You will resolve first-level application issues, work cross-functionally, and partner with Global Technology Services to resolve more complex problems.

You will troubleshoot, document releases, train end users, and help improve application functionality across SAP and other enterprise systems. This is a hybrid role with WFH and office days in Ireland.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Technology, or a related discipline.
• Co-op or internship experience with proven project/work experience (portfolio helpful).
• Exposure to enterprise software systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting and analyzing issues.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications.

As a Application Support Engineer in the Verizon Ireland Global Sourcing & Supply Chain group, you will contribute efforts on operational support for the organization and clear application issues. You will work in a cross-functional and cross-organizational environment (including Third party partners) to facilitate and deliver operational resolutions. You will work with end-users to answer questions and help resolve first-level issues on application support matters. You will partner with Global Technology Services colleagues when additional assistance is needed to resolve application issues tied to functionality and / or interfaces.

What we are looking for:
You’ll need to have:

• Graduated with a degree in Business Information Systems, Technology, or a related discipline
• A related co-op or internship experience, with proven project and work experience (a portfolio is helpful)
• Exposure to enterprise software systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting and analyzing issues
• Strong organisational skills
• Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications
• To be considered for this role, applicants must already hold a valid right to work in Ireland. We are currently unable to support employment permit sponsorship.

• Exposure, knowledge or proficiency in SAP application suites (S4 HANA, Ariba, IBP) or related systems
• Experience in system testing
• Good team player, well organized and self-starter
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to multitask
