Job summary

Kelco Communications in Waterford is seeking a Vodafone Business Development Executive to drive SME growth and close deals across Vodafone’s product suite. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and represent a globally recognised brand in a dynamic, target-driven environment.

You will enjoy an OTE of €60,000+ with a base of €35,000–€37,000 plus uncapped commission, plus a company car and benefits. A results-driven mindset and a clean Irish driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales; telecoms a bonus.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Results-driven with proven target attainment.
• Ability to build long-term client relationships.
• Highly organised with good time management.
• Willingness to drive; full Irish driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business within the SME market.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Understand customer needs and tailor Vodafone solutions.
• Present a full suite of products (mobile, broadband, IoT, and more).
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
• Deliver a high standard of customer experience throughout.
• Collaborate with internal teams for onboarding and service delivery.
• Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity.

What you’ll be doing:

• Proactively identify and win new business within the SME market
• Build strong, lasting relationships with both new and existing clients
• Understand customer needs and deliver tailored Vodafone solutions
• Present and demonstrate a full suite of products (mobile, broadband, IoT, and more)
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
• Consistently meet and exceed sales targets
• Deliver a high standard of customer experience throughout
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
• Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in B2B sales (telecoms experience is a bonus, not a must)
• A natural communicator with strong negotiation skills
• A results-driven mindset with a hunger to succeed
• Ability to build trust and long-term client relationships
• Highly organised with strong time management skills
• Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Full, clean Irish driving licence (essential)
