Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong SAP S/4HANA and supply-chain expertise for a hands-on ERP implementation project in Ireland. The role focuses on translating warehousing and logistics requirements into SAP solutions and working across business and technical teams.

You will lead workshops, design sessions and demos, shaping end-to-end warehouse processes and data migration activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst delivering S/4HANA solutions.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse and logistics processes.
• Experience in FMCG, distribution, logistics, 3PL or pharma/wholesale preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements across warehousing, logistics and fulfilment processes, translating them into functional specifications for SAP S/4HANA.
• Bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure solutions meet operational needs.
• Participate in workshops, design sessions and sprint demos throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Contribute to functional design, configuration rationale and end-to-end warehouse process mapping.
• Support test scenarios and participate in system integration, functional and user acceptance testing.
• Support data migration activities relevant to supply-chain deliverables.
• Liaise with implementation partners, vendors and key users.
• Provide BA support as required and coordinate with cross-functional processes.

About the Role

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong SAP S/4HANA and supply-chain expertise for a business-critical ERP Implementation project. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused contract role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-volume environment and can translate complex warehousing and logistics requirements into effective SAP solutions. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and implementation partners to shape and deliver S/4HANA EWM capabilities across the supply-chain function.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements across warehousing, logistics and fulfilment processes, translating them into functional specifications for SAP S/4HANA.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring solutions meet operational needs.
• Participate actively in workshops, design sessions and sprint demos throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Contribute to functional design, configuration rationale and end-to-end warehouse process mapping.
• Support the definition of test scenarios, and participate in system integration, functional acceptance and user acceptance testing.
• Support data migration activities relevant to supply-chain deliverables.
• Liaise with software implementation partners, vendors, third-party specialists and business key users.
• Provide business-as-usual support as required, and coordinate with other application specialists on cross-functional processes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst delivering S/4HANA solutions, across the full implementation lifecycle.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse and logistics processes, inbound/outbound, putaway and picking strategies, stock management, physical inventory, and integration with wider supply-chain and transport functions.
• Background in a high-volume, fast-paced environment — FMCG, distribution, logistics, 3PL or pharma/wholesale ideally.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills, engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Comfortable operating in a challenging, complex and fast-changing programme environment.
• Experience with EWM configuration and functional design, and comfortable translating warehouse operations into SAP solutions.

Remuneration

Daily rate contract with strong possibility of extension and approx. 500pd.
