Job summary

Vertiv Ireland is seeking a dynamic R&D / Product Development Engineer to drive innovation and enhancement of our busbar trunking product line. You will shape design, development, and support for launches that meet market demands and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with Offering Management, Marketing and Sales to align product strategy, while delivering 3D models, drawings and documentation with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering/design technology or equivalent.
Proficiency in Creo or SolidWorks and 3D design.
3D modelling, 2D drafting and GD&T proficiency.
Experience with PLM software and related applications.
Strong organization, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Define product specifications and features while meeting safety standards.
Develop product designs per IEC61439 & UL857.
Create 3D models and 2D drawings.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
Manage NPDI process and documentation.
Stay current with industry developments.
Produce prototypes to support design.
Follow engineering change process.
Organize drawings for reference.
Respond to design information requests.
