Job summary

ICDS (UK) Ltd is recruiting a Building Services Engineer to join a residential development project in Drumcondra, Dublin. You will coordinate building services across construction to ensure installations meet project specifications, quality standards and programme requirements.

The role requires a third-level qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline, a minimum of three years' experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Third-level degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum three years' relevant experience with a building contractor or transferable role.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications and building services documentation.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant IT systems.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical building services with architectural, structural and construction activities.
• Review technical specifications, service drawings and design details.
• Liaise with design teams, consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor building services installations to ensure compliance with project requirements and programme.
• Support procurement, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Manage O&M manual submissions and assist with technical and tender documentation.
