Job summary

Brightpath Recruitment is seeking a Building Services Engineer for a mixed-use scheme in Dublin 8 (Fairview area). You will ensure building services coordination from procurement to commissioning, working with design teams and site subcontractors.

Requirements: a third-level degree in Building Services/Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and strong IT systems and AutoCAD skills. The role also involves tender support and submission of O&M manuals.

Qualifications

• 3rd Level Qualification/Degree in Building Services/Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years experience gained either with a building contractor or in a skills transferable field.
• IT systems and AutoCAD skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate building services with other construction activities from specification and procurement through to installation, testing and commissioning.
• Review specifications, service drawings, architectural and structural details with design teams.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with standards and programme; assist in tender documentation and O&M manuals.

Building Services Engineer- Fairview, Dublin 3

Join a company with a proven track record in a diverse range of sectors including residential, commercial, pharmaceutical, data centres, industrial and education. They are looking for a Building Services Engineer based on a mixed use scheme in Dublin 8.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all building services are coordinated with other construction activities, from specification and procurement through to the installation, testing and commissioning of services in a variety of works.

Duties also include being knowledgeable with specifications, service drawings, architectural and structural details, liaising with design teams, coordinating subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with company standards and programme, the timely submission of O & M manuals and other ad hoc duties such as assisting in the preparation of detailed tender documentation.
