Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Building Services Engineer for a leading developer delivering large-scale residential projects across Dublin. The role involves coordinating mechanical and electrical services on site from design through to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will hold a Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical engineering degree, with 3+ years of experience and a proven track record coordinating

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a Building Services Engineering role.
• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience coordinating M&E services on residential or commercial projects.
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to liaise with subcontractors, and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating mechanical and electrical services installations on site.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Monitoring progress, quality, and compliance of M&E works.
• Assisting with commissioning, testing, and handover documentation.

Job description

Building Services Engineer required for a leading developer delivering large-scale residential projects across Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating building services installations from design stage through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments, with strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, subcontractor coordination, and technical delivery.

Requirements:

• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience in a Building Services Engineering role.
