Job summary

Dr. Ekler & Associates Human Resources Development Consultants Ltd. is seeking a Building Services Coordinator to join a growing Irish main contractor.

The role covers full project lifecycle from tender to handover, working with clients, consultants, design teams and specialist M&E contractors to drive successful delivery. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' Building Services/MEP experience, strong coordination and communication skills, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks.

Qualifications

Building Services Coordinator | Ireland

I’m currently recruiting for a Building Services Coordinator to join the Building Services team of an established and growing Irish main contractor.

This is a varied role covering the full project lifecycle, from tender and pre-construction through construction, commissioning, handover and aftercare.

You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, design teams, construction teams and specialist M&E contractors, coordinating building services and helping drive projects through to successful delivery.

The role includes:

• Coordinating mechanical and electrical contractors
• Managing day-to-day building services activities
• Programming M&E activities, equipment and deliveries
• Chairing coordination and commissioning meetings
• Coordinating technical information and documentation
• Developing and maintaining commissioning programmes
• Supporting testing, commissioning and system start-up
• Coordinating O&M manuals, Safety Files and handover documentation
• Providing building services input during tender and pre-construction
• Working with project stakeholders to resolve coordination issues

Who are we looking for?

Ideally, you will have 2+ years' relevant Building Services, MEP or engineering experience, with a good technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.

Previous Building Services / MEP Coordinator experience is advantageous, but not essential.

• Mechanical or electrical trade backgrounds with relevant experience

Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder-management skills are important, as you'll be working across multiple project teams and specialist contractors. AutoCAD, Revit and/or Navisworks experience would be an advantage.
