Job summary

Great National South Court Hotel in Limerick is seeking a dedicated Breakfast Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. You will prepare and serve breakfast dishes to our buffet standards and support the head chef with daily specials.

The role requires at least 2 years experience, the ability to work on your own initiative, and own transport for early starts. You will work as part of a busy kitchen team, following HACCP and maintaining cleanliness and stock rotation.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• The preparation and service of dishes according to the required standards on our breakfast buffet
• Ensuring that the food that is produced is consistently meeting such standards.
• To assist head chef in creating daily specials
• Monitoring food stocks and ensuring that stock is constantly rotated.
• Following all procedures and guidelines as stipulated by HACCP.
• To work within a team and show respect to all colleagues at all time
• Ensuring that your work is section is cleaned down during and after service.
• Minimizing food waste and ensuring that any food waste is disposed of correctly.

Requirements
