Retail Branch Manager - Limerick

Ideally, you'll have experience within construction/building materials or a similar trade-focused retail environment, although strong candidates from other retail sectors will also be considered.

About the Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Retail Branch Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance of a busy retail branch in Limerick.

Reporting to the senior management team, the successful candidate will play a key role in leading the branch, driving commercial performance and delivering a consistently high level of customer service. This is a hands-on management position with responsibility across people, sales, stock, operations and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operation of the branch, always ensuring excellent customer service.
• Take responsibility for branch sales, budgets, operating costs and overall commercial performance.
• Build strong and lasting relationships with customers, suppliers and other external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales and develop relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
• Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring products are available while maintaining effective stock control.
• Maintain high standards of branch presentation, merchandising and overall customer experience.
• Lead, motivate and support the branch team, encouraging strong communication and a positive working environment.
• Monitor performance against agreed targets and implement improvements where required.
• Ensure all administration, reporting and operational requirements are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, security and compliance across the branch.
• Keep informed of developments within the industry and local market to identify opportunities for the business.
• Contribute to wider management initiatives and support the continued development of the branch.
