Job summary

Countrylife New Ross, part of Tirlán, is seeking a Branch Assistant – Goods Inward in the New Ross store. This full-time role reports to the Branch Manager and will manage goods inward and assist in daily branch operations at our New Ross Countrylife Store, Co.

Wexford. You will build relationships with customers, record stock on CPOS, report shortages or damages, merchandise and price stock, and liaise with Administration.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and a friendly, proactive approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with stock recording systems (CPOS).
• I.T skills are also required.

Responsibilities

• Be customer focused by providing top quality, fast, efficient and friendly service at all times.
• Build trusting relationships with our customers and provide excellent service and advice.
• Keen interest in and understanding of our product range and services.
• Recording stock on the CPOS system
• Reporting any shortages or damages
• Merchandising, storage and pricing of stock
• Liaise with Administration
• Organise credit returns/uplifts
• Since first impressions are crucial you will need to ensure that the shop, yard and work environment are clean and well maintained at all times.
• Be able to work in the shop and store yard as and when needed.
