Branch Assistant: Stock & Customer Service

Job summary

Tirlán is seeking a reliable and committed individual for our New Ross Countrylife Store, Co. Wexford. You will manage goods inward and assist in daily branch operations, reporting to the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities include customer service, stock recording on CPOS, merchandising and keeping the shop and yard well maintained while supporting administration and working across shop and yard as required.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy store environment.
• Capable of working both in a team and independently.
• IT skills including basic computer use and store systems.

Responsibilities

• Be customer focused by providing top quality, fast, efficient and friendly service at all times.
• Build trusting relationships with our customers and provide excellent service and advice.
• Keen interest in and understanding of our product range and services.
• Recording stock on the CPOS system
• Reporting any shortages or damages
• Merchandising, storage and pricing of stock
• Liaise with Administration
• Organise credit returns/uplifts
• Keep shop, yard and work environment clean and well maintained at all times
• Be able to work in the shop and store yard as needed.
