Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a BMS Service Technician to service building management systems on customer sites around Dublin, Ireland. You’ll work closely with clients, support project delivery teams, and help identify growth opportunities for JCI business units.

The role requires at least 5 years in control systems, an HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or related field, and strong communication skills for explaining technical details to non‑technical audiences.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in control systems as a service engineer.
• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications/diplomas in relevant areas welcomed.
• Working knowledge of Metasys systems (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned service tasks efficiently, ensuring high customer satisfaction
• Configure and commission building control systems and network-level controllers
• Maintain system documentation and modify software programs using established standards
• Document service activities and create service reports
• Promote safety and adopt a Zero Harm mindset
• Support Key Account Managers with project pricing and design
• Advocate JCI cloud-based and OpenBlue technologies

What you will do

As a BMS Service Technician, you’ll represent Johnson Controls on customer sites, shaping the future direction of their BMS systems. You’ll work closely with clients, support project delivery teams, and identify growth opportunities for JCI business units.

What we look for
