Job summary

Synergy Recruitment Partners in Ireland is seeking an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join a growing building controls team. You will be responsible for service, maintenance, fault finding, commissioning of BMS systems across commercial and industrial sites.

You’ll diagnose software and hardware issues, carry out upgrades, document service reports and support project teams with installations. HVAC knowledge and control schematics reading are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a BMS/Controls engineer.
• Experience with Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Siemens or similar.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and controls.
• Ability to read technical drawings and control schematics.
• Electrical, mechanical or building services background beneficial.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join a growing building controls team.

This position will involve working across a range of commercial and industrial sites, carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and commissioning of Building Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and commissioning of BMS systems
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues
• Carry out system upgrades, backups and modifications
• Work closely with clients to ensure systems are running efficiently
• Complete service reports and technical documentation
• Support project teams with upgrades and new installations

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a BMS Engineer / Controls Engineer
• Experience with systems such as Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Siemens, Cylon or similar
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and controls
• Ability to read technical drawings and control schematics
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services background beneficial
