Job summary

Johnson Controls is leading the transformation of building operations with advanced automation for commercial, pharmaceutical, industrial, and data centre environments. We seek an experienced Project Manager to deliver Building Management System projects from initiation to handover, coordinating engineering, software, commissioning, and procurement teams.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing Building Management Systems (BMS) and related projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and building automation solutions.
• Experience delivering projects from design through commissioning and handover.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, resources, and commercial performance.
• Experience working with customers, consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of BMS projects across commercial, pharmaceutical, industrial, and data centre environments.
• Take overall responsibility for project scope, programme, budget, risk management, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage all phases of project execution from kick-off through design, installation, commissioning, and final handover.
• Coordinate internal project teams including engineering, software, commissioning, procurement, and installation resources.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance and identify, mitigate, and resolve risks, issues, and programme challenges.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, quality standards, and company processes.
• Lead project meetings, progress reviews, reporting, and customer communications.
• Support resource planning and coordinate project activities to ensure successful delivery.
• Oversee commissioning, witness testing, training, and customer handover activities.
• Ensure projects achieve financial targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
