Job summary

PE Global currently recruits a Calibration Planner & Scheduler for a leading multinational Biotech client based in Carlow, Ireland. The role is an 11-month contract onsite initially with a hybrid option 1 day per week after the first 3 months.

You will own end-to-end calibration planning, scheduling, and execution across manufacturing, laboratories and utilities. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering and 3+ years in GMP environments, with hands-on SAP/CMMS experience and calibration

Qualifications

Engineering degree or Level 7 qualification required.
Minimum 3 years planning, scheduling, maintenance or calibration in GMP environments.
Experience with SAP or equivalent CMMS/EAM system.
Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/regulatory manufacturing sectors.
Familiarity with calibration management systems (e.g., ProCal).

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end planning and scheduling for site calibration and gas detection activities.
Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual calibration schedules.
Coordinate calibration activities across multiple functions and sites.
Create, plan, release, and manage calibration work orders within SAP and maintenance systems.
Drive backlog reduction and timely closure of work orders.
Lead calibration daily meetings and maintain KPI dashboards.
Coordinate external calibration vendors and ensure audit readiness.
