Sanofi Waterford is offering a Manufacturing Sciences Intern position in Waterford, Ireland. You will join the Manufacturing Sciences team in the laboratory, gaining hands-on experience in scientific investigations, testing and biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

You will work with experienced scientists on projects involving complex biologics and monoclonal antibodies, developing your problem-solving skills and contributing to process development and improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Currently studying in the second or third year of a university degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biopharmaceutical Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
• Basic understanding of laboratory practices gained through studies.
• Genuine interest in science and learning new techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive approach to learning and taking initiative.
• Basic proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Aufgaben

• Support day-to-day laboratory operations, including safety checks and inventory management.
• Assist with laboratory testing and scientific investigations under supervision.
• Document technical studies and help analyse findings for process improvements.
• Contribute to projects focused on improving manufacturing processes and product lifecycles.
• Help with laboratory equipment checks and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot challenges and share ideas.
