Job summary

Sanofi Waterford invites applications for a Manufacturing Sciences Intern in our laboratory team. You will gain hands-on experience in laboratory testing and biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, supporting projects with biologics under expert mentorship.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a 2nd or 3rd year in a relevant scientific degree.
• Basic understanding of laboratory practices gained through studies.
• Genuine interest in science and learning new techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; able to ask questions and share ideas.
• Proactive learner with willingness to take initiative as knowledge grows.
• Familiar with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day laboratory operations, safety checks and inventory management.
• Gain hands-on experience with lyophilisation of biologics and protein characterisation.
• Assist with laboratory testing, investigations and experiments under supervision.
• Help plan, execute and document technical studies and analyse findings.
• Contribute to projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes and lifecycle support.
• Assist with equipment checks and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot and explore new approaches.
