Job summary

Phibro Animal Health Corporation in Ireland–Sligo seeks an experienced Site Lead to direct manufacturing operations, ensuring GMP compliance, safety, and operational excellence. You will mentor a growing team and partner with QA, EHS, and functions to meet production targets and quality standards.

The role requires a strong track record in biopharma operations, plus extensive experience with audits, process improvements and leadership at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or equivalent, with extensive relevant industry experience acceptable.
• Minimum of 10 years in a similar biopharma manufacturing role, with 5+ years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven track record in GMP-compliant operations, audits, and regulatory inspections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee/manag manufacturing operations to ensure GMP and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, mentor and develop a growing team of manufacturing professionals.
• Implement strategies to meet targets, cost efficiency and preparedness for escalations.
• Ensure SOPs, batch records and documentation are written/reviewed and training is current.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in audits and inspections.
• Drive process improvements using lean principles and CI methodologies.
• Monitor metrics, drive safety culture with EHS collaboration, and optimise yield/quality.
• Support SLT/S&OP processes and assist in staffing decisions for site expansion.
