Job summary

Phibro Animal Health Corporation seeks an Operations Manager to lead the Sligo site. Reporting to the Site Director, you will oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring GMP compliance, safety, and regulatory adherence while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

Significant leadership experience in biopharma manufacturing is essential. You will mentor a growing team, partner with QA/EHS, and manage day-to-day operations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to support site

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or equivalent; extensive relevant industry experience may supersede degree.
10+ years in a similar role within biopharma manufacturing; 5+ years in a managerial capacity.

Responsibilities

Ensure all manufacturing activities adhere to EHS regulations.
Lead and develop a growing team of manufacturing professionals with a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to meet targets, standards and cost efficiency while preparing for escalations.
Maintain GMP compliance and ensure training is current.
Oversee SOPs, batch records and documentation.
Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead CI initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support site expansion and capital investments.
