Job summary

Weltec Ltd. Engineering seeks a BIM/VDC QAQC Engineer for an office-based role with occasional site visits.

You will work within the Project, Quality & VDC teams, assisting in the design and preparation of high-quality engineering drawings across a range of projects, and also take initiative on your own when required. Reporting to the BIM & VDC Department Manager, you will verify models, perform QA/QC checks on designs, and coordinate with engineers, BIM engineers and designers to maintain

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in BIM/QC on engineering projects.
• Experience in Semiconductor, Data Centre & Pharma projects.
• Proficient with Revit/Plant 3D, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes and CDE environments.
• Ability to prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers, modellers and design partners to check elements released from design teams.
• Perform QA/QC checks through the Weltec CDE environment.
• Report anomalies in a structured manner and ensure timely closure.
• Coordinate with project engineers, BIM engineers and managers to maintain schedules.
• Conduct site surveys to verify design and construction environments reflect the model.
• QA check 3D models in Navisworks, Revit/AutoCAD/Plant 3D and support MEP works.
