Job summary

Weltec Ltd. Engineering is seeking a BIM/VDC QAQC Engineer for an office‑based role with occasional site visits. You will verify elements released from design teams, conduct QA/QC on the Weltec CDE environment, and report anomalies to support project schedules.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in MEP, experience with Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD and Plant 3D, and proficient MS Office tools. The role reports to the BIM & VDC Department Manager and involves collaboration across engineers and design

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 Years' Experience (MEP preferred)
• Experience in Semiconductor, Data Centre & Pharma Projects
• Experience using 3D BIM Environment workflows
• Experience with Revit/Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks
• Advance Knowledge of Ms Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Industry Specific Software

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineers, Modellers & Design Partners to check & verify elements released from Design Teams & Clients
• Compliance checks through QA/QC process on the Weltec CDE environment
• Report anomalies in a structured manner
• Ensure anomalies are fixed and closed to maintain project schedules
• Liaise with Project Engineers, BIM Engineers, BIM Manager/Coordinator
• Survey & check site conditions to reflect the modelled environment
• QA check of 3D model files through Navisworks, Revit/AutoCAD/Plant 3D
• Support completion of associated MEP works per program
• Conduct on-site surveys, scans & checks of installed services

Weltec Ltd. Engineering are seeking a BIM/VDC QAQC Engineer. This role will be an office-based Office based role and may also involve occasional site visits/inspections.

Primarily working within the Project, Quality & VDC teams, assisting in the design and preparation of high-quality engineering drawings for a broad range of projects but also be capable of working on your own initiative.

Reporting to the BIM & VDC Department Manager

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Partnering with Engineers, Modellers & Design Partners you will check & verify designed Elements released from Design Teams & Clients.
• Compliance Checks Through QA/QC Process on the Weltec CDE Environment
• Report all anomalies found within packages in a structured manner
• Ensure that anomalies are fixed and closed from the reports in a timely manner to maintain Project schedules.
• Liaise, internally with Project Engineers, BIM Engineers, BIM Manager/Coordinator
• Survey & Check Site Conditions to verify Design & Construction environments reflect the modelled environment.
• QA Check and verification of 3D model files through Navisworks, Revit/AutoCAD/Plant 3D
• Support completion of the associated MEP works in accordance with the Program.
• Carry out onsite Surveys, Scans & checks of the Installed Services

Key Skills and Competencies

• Minimum 3 Years' Experience (MEP preferred)
• Experience in Semiconductor, Data Centre & Pharma Projects
• Experience using 3D BIM Environment workflows
• Experience with Revit/Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Technical and Practical Knowledge of The Building Industry, trade or Engineering Background
