Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our Limerick team, delivering incidental geometry production, information validation, model coordination and reporting. You will play a key role in ensuring information quality and timely project delivery.

Working within the Digital Project Solutions group, you will align with ISO19650, implement CDE workflows, and collaborate with project teams and clients to drive digital construction excellence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the management of the project information model for sharing with the project team and authorising with the client team.
• Ensure model coordination and mobilisation plan are in place and carry out regular reviews.
• Ensure that all parties are using the CDE in the BAM information standards, client requirements, and ISO19650 (where required).
• Ensure the building information model data quality (graphical and non-graphical) and the correct level of information need is delivered. Reporting as required.
• Support the creation of the project information model and review the quality of data produced from the task teams, reporting non-conformances.
• Collaborate with IT and wider DPS to ensure that digital systems and working methods that are fit for purpose and efficient for the relevant stage of the project/asset lifecycle.

Making Possible

• Ensure the project/contracts standard methods and procedures aligns with BAM’s ISO 19650 information standards. #


• Ensure model coordination and mobilisation plan are in place and carry out regular reviews.


• Ensure that all parties are using the CDE in the agreed manner, as described in the BAM information standards, client requirements, and aligned with ISO19650 (where required).


• Ensure the building information model data quality (graphical and non-graphical) and the correct level of information need is delivered. Reporting as required.


• Support the creation of the project information model and review the quality of data produced from the task teams, reporting non-conformances.


• Implement digital processes on projects/contracts in all stages of the asset lifecycle as required.


• Establish compliant work flows in accordance with Client requirements, BAM’s information standards, and ISO 19650 (where required), ensuring that they are planned, documented, and well communicated.


• Contribute to the development of the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP).


• Collaborate with IT and wider DPS to ensure that digital systems and working methods that are fit for purpose and efficient for the relevant stage of the project/asset lifecycle.


• Seek to understand the technical challenges that users are facing with respect to application or tool usage, and quickly resolve the issues to avoid effect on productivity and performance.
