BIM/CAD Design Engineer

Job summary

Coffey is seeking a BIM Co-ordinator to work with the CAD & BIM Lead and other modelers to deliver projects using Revit, AutoCAD and P&ID workflows in an ISO/BIM context. You will develop 3D models, prepare 2D drawings, and drive document control within the Common Data Environment.

The role involves coordinating reviews, updating drawing registers, supporting BIM Execution Plans, and contributing to tender and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Building Information Modelling.
• Certificate and experience in Autodesk software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D and Revit.
• 0-3 years of post-graduate experience.
• Knowledge of Dynamo Scripts is preferable (not a requirement).
• Strong general IT skills and competent in the use of MS Office.
• Diligent with an attention to detail.
• Experience in the water/wastewater industry an advantage.
• Knowledge of BIM and BS1192/ISO19650 an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans.
• The design work may include tender stage and preliminary designs, detailed designs, and as-constructed drawings.
• Keep informed of emerging industry trends in technology.
• Undertake Continued Professional Development (CPD).
• Other duties as required and specified by the Senior Management

About You
