Job summary

Coffey is seeking a BIM Co-ordinator to deliver CAD/BIM outputs across Coffey projects, integrating Revit models with 2D drawings.

You will work closely with the CAD & BIM Lead and other modelers to develop 3D Revit models, 2D AutoCAD drawings and P&IDs, coordinate reviews via BIM360 Docs, and manage drawing registers in line with BS1192/ISO19650. This is a full-time role based in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Certificate and experience in Autodesk software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D and Revit.
• 0-3 years of post-graduate experience.
• Knowledge of Dynamo Scripts is preferable (not a requirement).

Responsibilities

• Work with the CAD/BIM Lead, BIM Co-ordinator and CAD/Revit Modelers to deliver Coffey projects.
• Develop 3D Revit models, 2D AutoCAD drawings, P&IDs and 2D General Arrangement drawings.
• Coordinate drawing review and issue through BIM360 Docs.
• Prepare drawing registers, transmittals and control revisions.
• Assist in project document control per ISO/BIM protocols BS1192/ISO19650.
• Assist development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans.
• Contribute to tender and design stages, from preliminary to as-constructed drawings.
• Stay informed on emerging BIM tech trends and CPD.
• Carry out other duties as required by Senior Management.

Job description

• Developing 3D Revit models, 2D AutoCAD drawings, P&ID's and preparation of 2D General Arrangement Drawings.


• Coordinating drawing review and issue through Common Data Environment (BIM360 Docs)


• Prepare drawing registers, transmittals, and control of drawing revisions


• Assist in the control of project documentation as per ISO accredited company procedures and BIM protocols BS1192/ISO19650


• Assist development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans


• The design work may include tender stage and preliminary designs, detailed designs, and as-constructed drawings.


• Keep informed of emerging industry trends in technology.


• Undertake Continued Professional Development (CPD).


• Other duties as required and specified by the Senior Management

About You

• Certificate or Diploma in Building Information Modelling


• Certificate and experience in the use of Autodesk software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D and Revit


• 0-3 years of post-graduate experience


• Knowledge of Dynamo Scripts is preferable (not a requirement)


• Strong general IT skills and competent in the use of MS Office


• Diligent with an attention to detail


• Experience in the water/wastewater industry an advantage


• Knowledge of BIM and BS1192/ISO19650 an advantage


• Ability to work efficiently, whether on their own or in a team environment


• Must have a Full clean Irish/EU Driver's License
