Job summary

PrepayPower is seeking a Billing Specialist to join the Landlords department in a hybrid role based in Sandyford, Dublin 18. You will manage end-to-end billing, support revenue collection, and provide accurate client invoices while liaising with multiple teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a similar role within utilities, strong Excel and CRM skills, and excellent communication and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within utilities.
• Experience handling billing, debt collection, and client queries in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Managing complete billing activities in partnership with Revenue and Specialist Billing team.
• Debt collection activities, including proactive client contact and payment follow-up.
• Primary client-facing contact for billing queries, account reviews, and portfolio updates.
• Overseeing and finalising billing calculations and customer invoices.
• Running and issuing client portfolio consumption reports for client review.
• Maintaining the Master Billing Register and managing tariffs.
• Resolving billing queries and conducting analysis for accuracy.
• Collaborating with internal departments and third parties to resolve issues.
• Developing and implementing reports to track process performance and identify improvements.
• Leading billing initiatives within internal projects to drive efficiency.

Salary: 38,000 OTE

As a pivotal member of our Business-to-Business Sales Team, you will play a key client-facing role ensuring accurate, timely billing and strong account support across PrepayPower/Yuno Group. You will act as a trusted point of contact for clients on all billing matters, while also supporting revenue collection and reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Managing complete billing activities in partnership with the Revenue and Specialist Billing team.
• Managing debt collection activities, including proactive client contact, payment follow-up, and escalation where required.
• Acting as the primary client-facing contact for billing queries, account reviews, and portfolio updates.
• Overseeing and finalising billing calculations and customer invoices.
• Running and issuing regular client portfolio consumption reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity for client review.
• Maintaining the Master Billing Register and managing tariffs.
• Resolving billing queries and conducting analysis to ensure accuracy.
• Managing debt collection activities, including proactive client contact, payment follow-up, and escalation where required.
• Collaborating with internal departments and third parties to resolve billing issues.
• Developing and implementing reports to track process performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Leading billing initiatives within internal projects to drive greater efficiency.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Prior experience in a client-facing role, with confidence handling account queries and debt collection conversations professionally.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with CRM systems.
