Job summary

PrepayPower is seeking a Billing Specialist to join its B2B Sales Team in a hybrid role based in Sandyford, Dublin 18. You will ensure accurate, timely billing, support revenue collection, and act as the client-facing contact for billing matters.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in a similar position, strong Excel and CRM skills, and excellent communication and analytical abilities. A competitive salary and progression opportunities are offered within a growing energy group.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in utilities.
• Experience in client-facing roles with professional handling of account queries and debt collection.
• Strong Excel and CRM experience.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-directed with an organised approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete billing activities in partnership with Revenue and Specialist Billing teams.
• Manage debt collection activities, including proactive client contact, payment follow-up, and escalation where required.
• Act as the primary client-facing contact for billing queries, account reviews, and portfolio updates.
• Oversee and finalise billing calculations and customer invoices.
• Run and issue regular client portfolio consumption reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Maintain the Master Billing Register and managing tariffs.
• Resolve billing queries and conduct analysis to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal departments and third parties to resolve billing issues.
• Develop and implement reports to track process performance and identify improvements.
• Lead billing initiatives within internal projects to drive efficiency.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Target-driven mindset with a proven ability to achieve goals individually and as part of a team.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within utilities.
• Prior experience in a client-facing role, with confidence handling account queries and debt collection conversations professionally.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with CRM systems.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-directed with a structured, organised approach to work.
