Waystone is seeking a Billing Manager to join the team reporting to the Group Head of Billing & Collections. You will work closely with Manco, Operations and Group Finance to ensure accurate NAV/AUM data processing, billing calculations and revenue tasks.

The role requires strong analytics, experience in fund administration, and ability to coordinate with multiple internal functions. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6+ years in financial reporting or fund accounting, experience with NAV/AUM

Summary: Reporting to the Group Head of Billing & Collections the Billing Manager will be an integral part of the team's success. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Manco team, Operations and Group Finance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Billing Calculation

• Manage client NAV/AUM data for reporting, analysis, and billing calculations.
• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in client AUM/NAV data.
• Prepare billing calculations and associated revenue tasks for the Management Company
• Assist the smooth coordination of Ancillary revenue information
• Provide the required ManCo fee calculation outputs to Billing colleagues to facilitate the generation of client invoices
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as Business Development, Relationship Management, Onboarding, Local Finance Teams and the Legal Department to ensure a smooth end to end billing process
• Address client-specific queries related to Manco fee calculations and collaborate with Billing colleagues to support the resolution of billing discrepancies and/or customer disputes.

Reconciliations & Controls

• Ensure that the correct Policies and Procedures have been followed within the prescribed controls in preparing billing calculations.
• Follow the prescribed requirements for coding/ preparing invoices in the Financial ERP system.
• Maintain accurate records of billing calculations and support internal audits.

Reporting & Analysis

• Support the Global Billing & Collections Team on related matters
• Liaise effectively and proactively with Group Finance, Director of RFS Revenue, Financial Controllers and Financial Planning & Analysis
• Participate in the annual audit process including providing timely responses to queries as required.

Collaboration & Partnering

• Collaborate with colleagues across the Waystone Group, ensuring effective collaboration communication and development of solutions, including contributing to Group Projects
• Assist in Group Billing & Collections continuous improvements, including enhancing the Billing calculation Policies & Procedures and technology system improvements.

Experience:

• 3 to 6+ years in a financial reporting, fund accounting or fund administration role.
• Experience working in a Fund Administrator, Asset Manager or Big Four firm with exposure to fund structures.
• Strong knowledge of NAV and AUM calculations.
• Exposure to revenue recognition and fee calculations, ideally within a Manco, Asset Management or Fund Services setting.
• Sage Intacct and Salesforce experience is preferable but not necessary.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines.

Education:

• A professional accounting qualification is preferred.
